M. Africanus Aveh

M. Africanus Aveh (also known traditionally as Togbe Yao Eladzagla I) is an acclaimed Ghanaian filmmaker, theatre practitioner, and academic registered under the Auxiliary Arts domain of the Ghana Culture Forum. For over two decades, he has served as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Theatre Arts within the University of Ghana’s School of Performing Arts, as well as an adjunct faculty member at Webster University Ghana. As a versatile writer, director, producer, and film critic, he plays an important institutional role in training the next generation of West African media artists and shaping local cultural policies.
