Strategic Objectives of the Ghana Culture Forum

The Ghana Culture Forum (GCF) operates as a unified voice for practitioners, activists, and organisations across the creative arts ecosystem. To drive sustainable development and policy advocacy within the sector, the forum is bound by the following core constitutional mandates:

1. Ensure National Development Integration

Ensure the recognition and mainstreaming of issues of culture in national development as enshrined in the Constitution in the Directive Principles of State Policy.

2. Cultural Sector Policy Monitoring

Monitor and intervene in developments in the cultural sector as envisaged in the Ghana Cultural Policy.

3. Coordinated Representation and Advocacy

Coordinate and represent the views and voices ensuring that they are heard and ventilated.

4. Support for Creative Activists and Organisations

Support cultural activists and their organisations to promote the best of Ghanaian creativity and heritage.

5. Promote Diversity and Identity

Promote Ghanaian identity through our cultural diversity.
