2. About the Ghana Culture Forum
The Ghana Culture Forum is a premier national network and civil society advocacy platform uniting cultural practitioners, professional associations, institutions, researchers, and arts enthusiasts across all domains of Ghanaian cultural heritage and the creative economy.
3. Use of Digital Content & Intellectual Property
A. Ownership
All materials displayed or accessible through this platform—including publications, policy briefs, research papers, reports, brand marks, logos, graphics, multimedia recordings, and written text—are the intellectual property of the Ghana Culture Forum, its contributing members, or credited licensors, protected by Ghanaian copyright laws and international intellectual property conventions.
B. Downloadable Publications & Reports
- Non-Commercial Research & Education: Visitors are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to download, read, and cite GCF publications, policy recommendations, and annual reports for educational, personal, academic, or research purposes.
- Attribution Required: Proper citation of the author(s) and the Ghana Culture Forum must accompany any excerpt, quotation, or data referenced in academic, journalistic, or institutional works.
- Prohibited Commercial Exploitation: No report, publication, dataset, or media file may be resold, repackaged, republished for commercial profit, or modified without prior written permission from the GCF Secretariat.
4. Membership Applications & Portal Submissions
By completing an online membership application or submitting information through our portal:
- Accuracy of Information: You warrant that all information provided—including identity details, contact information, institutional affiliations, and domain classifications—is accurate, current, and complete.
- Review & Discretion: Submission of an application form does not constitute automatic conferral of membership. All applications are subject to administrative review and approval by the GCF leadership under the forum’s governing constitution and bye-laws.
- Code of Conduct: Members are expected to uphold ethical standards that protect the integrity, respect, and diversity of the Ghanaian cultural sector.
5. Member Stories & User-Generated Content
When submitting project updates, member stories, event listings, or commentary:
- You grant GCF a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, format, and share your submitted story and associated media across our digital platforms and cultural advocacy channels.
- You represent that you hold all necessary rights and copyright permissions for any images, videos, audio, or excerpts included in your submission.
- GCF reserves the right to edit for clarity, length, or formatting, or decline to publish content that violates our standards or promotes hate speech, misinformation, or defamation.
6. Event Registration & Participation
- Registrations for GCF summits, seminars, workshops, and annual conferences via this website are subject to availability and event-specific guidelines.
- GCF reserves the right to alter event schedules, change venues/platforms, or update participation terms due to operational necessities or unforeseen circumstances.
7. Third-Party Links & External Platforms
This website may contain links to external third-party websites (e.g., government agencies, partner cultural institutions, international networks, or external payment gateways). GCF has no control over, and assumes no liability for, the content, security, or privacy policies of third-party platforms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
