Born in Accra, Eric Turkson discovered his singing talent in church before achieving widespread recognition during his secondary school days. In the early 1990s, he co-founded the group NFL.
His breakthrough came after a highly acclaimed Twi-translated cover of Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love to You,” which solidified his status as an R&B pioneer.
He memorably opened for music legend Stevie Wonder during Panafest in 1994. Over the decades, his work has expanded into global sounds, including chart-topping electronic dance music (EDM) and Afro-fusion projects.
He is also a vocal advocate for reforms in Ghana’s royalty distribution frameworks
