As an essential institutional pillar of the Ghana Culture Forum (GCF) Audio-Visual Domain, GAG is legally mandated to protect, standardize, and promote the creative welfare, economic rights, and contractual working conditions of actors nationwide. Following an expansive eight-year legal dispute that stalled internal governance, a landmark court judgment on January 20, 2026, ordered fresh leadership elections. Star actor and former Vice President Van Vicker has been judicially mandated to supervise the compilation of a new voter register and oversee the upcoming electoral process to rebuild the guild’s administrative framework.
