Makeba Nana Pokua Boateng, APR, is a passionate Archivist and Independent Researcher–Curator with a profound interest in African Fashion, Indigenous Textiles, and Design. As the Founder of Fashion Forum Africa, Makeba's mission is to meticulously document and preserve the legacy of iconic African designers and the vibrant fashion trends and narratives that have influenced and shaped our culture. With a background in public relations and a specialised focus in valuation and appraisals, Makeba brings a unique perspective to her work. Her expertise lies in combining her knowledge of cultural heritage with her strategic communication skills to contribute to the advancement of the fashion industry, particularly from the African perspective.
